Lorne Chapman appointed IJCA Councilor of Honor

It is great pleasure that we are able to announce Lorne Chapman’s appointment as an IJCA Councilor of Honor.  IJCA Past Chairman Jim Farmer of the United States announced Lorne’s appointment at the 2012 World Council meeting recently held in Howth, Ireland.  The Council of Honor recognizing select individuals for their extraordinary contributions to the class internationally, and Lorne has been recognized for his many years of service with the technical committee across a number of roles.  It should also be noted that appointments to the Council of Honor are only made as warranted and is a rare occurance, with only seven members appointed in the 30 plus year history of the class.  (Our Canadian Class should be particularly proud that 3 of the 7 councilors are Canadian.)

Please take a moment to congratulate and thank Lorne for his years of contributions to the class.
